Thankful to be the proud new owner of “Seaquel”, a 2013 R27 owned by Mark and Peggy Leopold in Anecortes, WA. Reading the inspirational blog with incredible pictures here on Tugnuts about their epic Inside Passage adventure with their special needs daughter Nicole and Moxie the dog, makes Seaquel a very special boat indeed. She has been beautifully maintained and Mark has been fabulous to work with during the sales transaction. Always answering my millions of questions and allowing me to leave her stored in their shop until Spring when she’ll be brought to her new home on Lake Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Mark told me about Tugnuts early on and I have been enjoying reading many of the helpful posts and looking forward to the Rendezvous and meeting fellow Tugnut-ers! Also bought the trailer and am looking forward to some traveling “trailer-trawlering life” (thank you Jim & Lisa Favors). Can’t wait to get her home and start enjoying Tug Life!

Welcome to the fleet!

Cheers,

Bruce

Welcome! If only that boat could talk. You’d have plenty of stories! Enjoy!

Welcome! We are in Spokane with a 2013 Classic R27 we bought last year from Ranger Tugs.

Cindy and Brent

Congratulations on your new to you R27. Where will your main boating be done?

Jim

Welcome to the fleet. Where are you going to keep her? We are down in La Conner With our 27 classic.

Pddayo: What great news for you. Congratulations. That R27 Classic is a classic and will serve you well. Take good care of it as did Mark and Peggy obviously.

Thank you all for the welcomes and congrats. Seaquel will be primarily used for cruising and fishing Lake Coeur d’Alene with trips to other Inland PNW lakes but really looking forward to trailering her over to the Sound and exploring all the beauty of the San Juan’s etc.
Cindy and Brent - Let me know if you’re ever on Lake CDA. Maybe we could meet up?
DoubleD - You are blessed to live in such a beautiful place with such an awesome “backyard”.
baz - Looking forward to meeting someone who knows Ranger Tugs so well.
Jim - Will be picking your brain on Trailer Trawlering.
Red Raven - You are right!
If anyone with a Ranger Tug is ever in the Coeur d’Alene area look me up.

We bought a 2018 R23 last August from Fluid Motion and will mostly be using it on Lake Pend Oreille this coming season. We plan to try out towing it by taking it to Coeur D’Alene before we attempt a trip to Puget Sound, which we really hope to do soon. Would love to meet up with you on Lake Coeur D’Alene sometime this summer and be able to compare notes and learn from other Ranger Tug owners. Scott and Cindy

Scott and Cindy,
That sounds great. Just let me know when you are planning to be on Lake CDA and we can meet up.

Let’s plan something! Love to see another 2013 classic 17! We need to initiate ourselves into a launching by truck. We’ve only used the hoists so far on the west side. There are several other rangers and cutwater s locally too. Rob, from Ruby Rose, are you out there?
