Hi all Tugnuts:

We are Heather and Mike and we wanted to introduce ourselves to the Tugnuts community. We have just completed the purchase of the R29 Sporty II that was listed here back in Sept. We will be keeping the boat in Bellingham, under a new name, Tug Time!, and coming up from our home in Sunnyvale, CA. Tug Time! will be going into the charter program at San Juan Charters so it will get some use while we are stuck working down in CA but we hope to get up frequently for week and extended weekend trips. We are sailors/racers (various J boats, Hobie Cats) and this is our first Tug and I wanted to thank all those who post here, it has been a valuable resource.

Hoping to meet some of you in the PNW as we explore a new area. We are actually heading up this weekend to get some time on the water and are looking forward to our first cruise.

Welcome... we know that you will enjoy boating in the PNW and look forward to seeing you in the San Juans.

I'm a Bay Area native, Palo Alto, and moved here in '98 for business. Took less than a year to decide to stay. But it took 10 years to finally get our first boat. Now we can't imagine leaving.

Prepare to be enchanted. Let us know if you get down the Sound to Elliott Bay.

Cheers,

Bruce

Hi Mike and Heather,

Pleased to read that you're new tug owners and we want to welcome you to Bellingham. Our 25SC is kept at Squalicum on LE dock. RESTLESS, a 27, owned by Charlie and Nancy is moored on a dock just behind us. We're on our boat nearly every day. As far as we're concerned Puget Sound is one of the best cruising places anywhere.

Looking forward to meeting you.
