Delivery day is almost here!!

Spinner will be at L-23 as of May 9. I saw Moondance on M dock last week - anyone else over there?

I will be at the dock most of Mother 's Day weekend, stop by if you are around! It will be great to meet the "neighbors " 😀
If you see someone going in and out of her slip, it will probably just be me, practicing docking. Beware the rooky captain!

Just take your sweet time with the docking activities... there's absolutely no hurry getting it just right with your thrusters or no thrusters as you want. I always inch in my stern and tie up on starboard side as I can lean out the window to see precisely where I'm at. Enjoy your new R-29... it's an awesome boat. 🙂

Thanks, that's great advice!

Look forward to seeing you there.

Cheers,

Bruce

It does not pay to reserve moorage that depends on the prior occupant moving out as scheduled ! It's a long story, but suffice it to say that Spinner is NOW going to be moored in slip K-3, accessible off of the J dock gate. Still at Elliot Bay Marina, thank goodness!

We'll be at the marina tomorrow, at some point, and will look for you. Congratulations!

Cheers,

Bruce

Congrats to you; I look forward to seeing you out there in the sound... we get our 21EC in... 14 days!!! OMG!

Sue, so excited for you! Let us all know how it goes.

She's here!!

One more move... You will find Spinner at L -63. The 30 foot slip at K-3 was really too short, darn it!

Welcome to the Ranger family, and welcome to Elliott Bay Marina. Poppy's Legacy, our R29, floats at C31. 🙂

Sue, congrats! Have enjoyed following your journey to your new R29 and Elliott Bay.

First solo cruise - check!
Rafting up, in reverse, in front of a dock full of yacht club friends -check
Finding out that the VHF does not work if the squelch is turned ALL the way down -check
Smooth return to marina slip - check

Seriously, the R-29 is a great boat! I especially want to shout out to Ronnie and Andrew, for patience and wonderful helpfulness! Another shout out to Captain Mac and Ronnie for their careful instruction in boat systems, handling and electronics. Now, if I can just get all of that info engraved into my brain ....

Tugbug, what a wonderful name!

Cheers!
