Finally got the old stickers off and the weather was good enough to apply the new ones!
I added a clear topcoat layer so the tiny blue letters don't start shifting or falling off.

I peeled off the raised plastic of the old sticker and then applied a little heat from a heat gun to the remaining gold foil.
Once it was warm to the touch, I used a hard plastic Cricut scraper to break up and remove the foil.
To remove the sticky residue, I used methyl hydrate on a rag. That worked 100x better that the 70% rubbing alcohol I had on hand.
