I recently traded in my R21EC to the factory for a 2010 Ranger R25 Classic. Though I loved the R21EC, especially for salmon fishing, we needed more room for overnight trips and a boat that can take waves better. I did enjoy the wave action on the R21EC, being I used to sail, but rolling around was a bit much for my wife.

As is always the case, Andrew, at the factory, was a pleasure to work with on the pricing, explaining everything about the boat, and getting it ready for delivery. Kenny and Ivan helped get the boat ready for delivery by making sure everything worked and taking care of a few maintenance tasks, while Richard is behind the scenes getting parts in. Kenny did a great job taking me out for a day of training. I couldn't ask for a better group of people to work with.

I'm keeping the boat under covered moorage at the Des Moines Marina and I'll be spending the next few months learning about how to do the maintenance on this, new to me, R25 Classic. There are a few pictures in my album.

This forum is sure a great place to allow one to study up on a boat before making a purchase.

Thanks, Bob

Thanks Dan. I'm super excited to go cruising next year. Your album has some of the best pictures!

Congratulations, Bob!

We had a 2014 R25SC and just adored her. We are thrilled with her big sister as well.

We made three trips in the Puget Sound on the R25 of about 5 weeks each and loved the ports we visited. We also spent a bit over a month on her coming down the Snake and Columbia Rivers from Clarkston to Portland. This is still an active barge route, and the R25 (Classic and SC) are tugs.

We hope you have fond memories like ours.

L&L, I placed the "Anacortes Sept 2013" picture of your R25sc, from your album, on my work pc desktop and admired it for the last six months. Thank you for the inspiration. Bob
