Hi All,
We just joined Tugnuts although we have been reading the posts since January when we saw the Ranger Tug display at the Toronto Boat Show and fell in love with the boats especially the R-31. We were at the boat show looking at the various boats getting ideas on what we would like to buy to retire with in a few years, but were not very captivated by many until we spied the Ranger Tugs, and the Mrs. said "that's the one", and who was I to argue since I agreed.
I had not contemplated joining Tugnuts since we do not own our tug yet, but after meeting Ryan at Lefroy Harbour he stated I should join anyway, and here we are.
With regards to meeting Ryan the other day, he was very patient and exceptionally helpful in answering my questions and spending time with me going over boat features. A 1 hour stop turned into 4 hours. Now I know why comments have been made on here about how terrific and supportive Ryan and Lefroy Harbour are and truly do go above and beyond, and I do not even own one yet.
We are busy gathering as much information as we can find about tugs and boating in general. Although I have owned smaller boats in the past and sailed on various boats we have a lot to learn. I think am driving the Mrs. crazy with choosing potential boat names, I think we at at 500!
We look forward to reading and getting more information from experience owners posts.
Barry & Sarah
