New used boat and I can’t figure out the inverter

It’s sad, but when I switch to shore power to the inverter, it the plugs, fridge, etc don’t work. I just bought the boat (a 2016) and carb figure out what I’m doing wrong. Is there a fuse somewhere that may have blown?

There is a switch in the lazarett above the batteries.

The fridge runs on 12 volt power only. Turn on the battery charger when connected to shore power to keep the fridge running.

That’s correct. On our 25SC it’s a rotary red switch. There’s also a remote momentary switch on the helm seat adjacent to the switch for selecting inverter/shore power. It has to be press for a couple of seconds to engage the inverter. As mentioned, the fridge is 12V. Remember to turn off battery charger when on inverter. The hot water and electric stove top don’t work on inverter, the microwave does. I start the engine whenever I do use the microwave on the inverter.

I'm not sure what you mean by that? I didn't see a switch there - just the music, the USB and 12v plugs?
I got little introduction to the boat when I bought it and there is not really a manual...

I apologise. I assumed the R23 was like the R25SC and it’s apparently not. My error. You need someone with an R23 to chime in. Does the R23 have the remote switch for the inverter?
