Hi Folks, I just switched from single-handed sailing to single-handed power as my sweet little Com-Pac 25 isn't getting enough exercise due to the tough coordination of work, weather, and sailing conditions here in Beaufort, NC. I've opted for a 2009 Ranger 25 Classic, pictured here, and I love her already! I am excited to see the enormous amount of resources on this site and look forward to taking advantage of them!

Welcome to the forum!
We owned a wonderful 2009 R-25 Classic from 2015 to 2022. Made a lot of upgrades to ourIMG_2546.jpeg boat to suit our preferences.
Great boat for day trips or extended cruising. We used ours about 40-45 nights a season on up to 3 week trips in the Puget Sound, the San Juan (WA) and Gulf Islands (BC), Desolation Sound (BC) , Columbia River (OR) and even south to Lake Powell (AZ).
Get use to strangers at marinas coming by to say, “ What a cute boat!”IMG_3455.jpeg

Welcome. Don't be afraid to take a trip down to Southport, NC. We have 5 RT's at Morningstar Southport Marina!

Welcome to the party! We love our RT27 OB. You’ll find TugNuts to be one of the best owners group around, and RT’s will stop by to greet you wherever you anchor!

Congrats and welcome!

Hello. Similar situation here. Was living in California. I sailed the San Francisco Bay on a 35 sailboat for several years before moving to Mexico and the bay of banderas. Moved to a 21 ft center console powerboat and looking to find a pocket cruiser to enjoy cruising around here. Looking at the ranger tug 27 and seeking feedbacks from the people here. My post is pending approval. Congratulations on you boat. Gorgeous
