Congrats and welcome to the tugnut family!!!

Congratulations! Can't wait to see some photos

I hope you like having to talk to people every minute you are at the boat because that red hulled Tug is going to draw them like flies to honey

Welcome aboard, you'll love the red hull. We have the red hull as well and when out on the water I'm not sure if others are slowing down to look at our boat or if they think we're the local marine police.....either way it's nice to be noticed......congrats.

Peter & Ronie B: CONGRATULATIONS on your new R27 Red Hull. What a glorious color it will be against the blue waters over there in Perth. We have family in Perth,,, the Fiddiks who have 3 lively boys. I wonder if you've come across them. Andrew Fiddik is a Quantity Surveyor if that helps. In fact my wife's sister Pam Fiddik has just flown over to Perth for a 4 week stint to visit Andrew.

Let us know what waters you will cruise and will you be trailering the R27 about some ?

As others have posted, we do require some photos from all Newbies.... 😉 😉 😉

To see your other red hull R27 kindred spirit goto Jim & Lisa Favors–R27 Kismet's web site where there are wonderful pics of their Tug.

I suggest you visit The World of Ranger Tugs at

http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=U...86.171875&t=h&z=2&iwloc=00048f234a1a28faa7bde

and follow the instructions there such as....

"If your are registered, and would like to be on the map, send a Private Message via Tugnuts to Bruce Moore with the information you'd like included."

This will open up the world where Ranger Tugs are located along with owner information etc.

There's also a link for this on the Tugnuts home page in left hand sidebar under "Links".

Looking up on The World Of Ranger Tugs I see that there are two R21-ECs in your area...

SKINT: Spent the Kids Inheritance on a New Tug
QUEEN BESS: Port Mandurah Canals, Mandurah, Western Australia

Thanks Baz,
We will have our tug at a permanent mooring at the local marina we don't have a vehicle that can tow that weight.
I have looked at the tug members where abouts and have seen SKINT 😀 also seen a new R25 a year or so ago in Perth 😀

Jim,
Thanks we chose the colour because think it easier to see from any distance 🙂 Our Police boats are white here with all the usual flashing lights etc........ hehehehehehe.

Levitation I LOVE a great chat 😀 so it wont be a problem.

All I will post picture when they are taken/available.
Cheers

I have decided that I will need to follow the boat to WA (not Washington) and make sure it gets there ok. 😉

I would also like to welcome you to the Ranger family, and it is a family! And let me assure you that the Costomer Service team is wonderful. They have assisted me the last few weeks in locating and replacing the fuel sending unit on my R25, and went well beyond what I expected in terms of support!

Hi All,
Well I have been told that my new Ranger Tug build gets started 1 April YEAH 😀 😀 😀 So I wish all my new Tug friends and families a Happy Easter 😀 Thanks for your welcomes and information.
Cheers
Peter & Ronie B
P.S. Also it could be the first one here in Australia (Western) with the new 200hp Volvo motor 🙂

Ask them to change that to Mar 31st or Apr 2nd.

Hi All TugNuts,
Blu Tug arrived safely and was unloaded at Fremantle WA (Western Australia) 😀 Monday morning she gets trucked to a local sailing club to be set up ie.. anti fouling, electronics fitted et... getting her ready for our much awaited enjoyment 😀 Will put her on the world map once we get settled in to her new home in Mandurah.
Hope to find how to post some pics later and set up a flicker page 🙂

Cheers

Peter and Ronie B

Yea, glad to know the very ling trip is over and you will get together soon!

The long wait has ended for you. Congratulations and fair winds. Let us know how all the outfitting goes... all the +ives and -ives. If you have the time be there on the boat when they do the outfitting as you can learn a lot for future trouble-shooting and maintenance chores... basically, this will be a good time to learn more about your boat well before she gets in the water for real.

Thanks Baz,
We sure will be there and watching learning everything we can 😀 As well as studying all the paperwork that comes with her too 😀 plenty to keep us busy before our first voyage 😀 We will also be taking lots of movies/pics to help our old memories 🙂 refreshed as needed 😀

Cheers
Peter and Ronie B

Share those photos/movies with us... thanks. 🙂

Finally got BLU TUG licensed today 😀 still waiting for electronics to be finished 🙂 Anti- fouling was done today 😀 Sign writer hopefully will be doing the signs in the next day or so 😀 the she gets detailed we get to put out things aboard 🙂 then back into the water Monday for sea trial photo shoot ( for local newspaper) then off to Mandurah and her new home 😀. will try to post pics in the next few days when I find out how to do it 😉
Cheers
Peter and Ronie B
