I have a 2019 Ranger 29CB. It is based in Florida. I'm having problems with my NextGen generator. It should run at 190 degrees and shut off if it overheats at 225. That' what it does. However, I talked with Ken at NextGen and he said it is designed with a theoretical max of 29 amps, but it should not run over 90% for any length of time. When both A/C's are running it draws 30-31 Amps. We have checked the sea trainer, and the exhaust for blockage and all are good. Ken told me that the generator was never designed for two A/C's at once. This seems strange because I never had a problem until this winter, just after it got out of warranty. When I run just one A/C it works fine. Does anyone have any ideas or similar problem?

Thanks,
Richard Kent

How is the water flowing? Doesn't that generator have a impeller? Can you put a amp probe on the a/c units & see if one unit is drawing more than the other.

I'll check on the amp for each. We did put in a new impeller

Thanks
