Our Cutwater 28 "Exodus" is coming up on 100 hours trouble free use since taking delivery last summer. We've travelled more than 1000 miles in our little red boat, and it has performed flawlessly.
On the day of the Sea Hawks parade the temperature in Tacoma was in the 20's, and my friend and I decided to go look at some property in south sound. The Foss waterway was partially covered in a thin sheet of ice which we gently idled our way through. Motoring out next to us was a group of young twenty-something men heavily bundled up making there way to Seattle for the parade in a nice looking Grady White. We couldn't relate to the frozen look on their faces as we were casually sipping coffee in our T-Shirts and socks while ice formed on the corners of the windows. Put about 5 hours on the boat that day and met up with our frozen friends on our return to the Marina where we tucked it in the warehouse. We ended up being the only 2 boats crazy enough to go out that day.
Usually cruise around 17-19 Knots. Fuel Burn is 1.9-2.0 Nm/Gal typically. WOT is 3500 RPM usually hit 26 Kts. All in all, great boat.
