Hello all and happy long-weekend for those who have it!

I just got back from a week up in Desolation sound. Fantastic trip. Marred by one problem: on the fourth night the lights went out on our game of cribbage. A bit of stumbling around determined that there was no DC power coming from either distribution panel. We finished the trip, and now I have to fix it. I suspect there is some main fuse that I've blown, but I couldn't figure out where it might be so any guidance would be appreciated:

Here are my facts:

- 2008 Ranger R25 classic
- no power from either DC distribution panel (i.e. no stereo, VHF radio, plotter, wipers, nav lights etc.)
- volt meter shows 0 volts from house bank, and normal voltage for starter and thruster batteries
- starting and thrusting are unaffected
- emergency parallel switch is off
- at the time of the outage, load was: refrigerator, galley lights (one light over sink, one light over table), charging one iPad and one iPhone from 12v aux plugs on dash.
- this was on Day 4 of similar usage
- I checked the blade fuses in the back of the helm, but all look fine by visual inspection
- my little used multi-meter was dragged our of storage ... and its battery had leaked corroding the heck out of it. A new one is on the shopping list.
- Wallas stove and CO detector, which the wiring diagram shows as getting power directly from the house bank, both have power. This is what makes me think I've tripped a master fuse / breaker between the house bank and the DC panels. If that is the case, where is it located?

We finished our trip using my iPad Navionics app for navigation, and with the stove, BBQ, windlass, motor etc. still working fine, it was really only the refrigerator that was missed (I didn't want to run the generator as I find the loss of peace is worse than having to eat canned food). And the wipers as we had a bit of chop south of Sechelt on the way back to home port. Even with the DC issue though, it was a great trip.

Any advice is, as always, very much appreciated.

I have the same vintage R25. There is a main breaker. On my boat it is located under the generator hatch just above the ACR switches i.e. just forward of the on/off switch for the thrusters. It's an odd looking breaker that doesn't look like a breaker at all. Has a red button and a black lever. The black lever has to be pushed flat against the switch housing to close the breaker. When it trips the lever will pop out.

We also have a 25 classic - MY 2009 build 2008. The circuit breaker noted by Dan, on our tug, is located in the engine compartment on the port side and has a small red cap covering the button. For me it was a head scratcher the first time I bumped this breaker without knowing it - no DC power. Everything was fine before diving into the engine compartment but when I came out all DC powered systems were off line. Quick call to Andrew and all was solved. Location makes it very easy to trip and not even realize you have done so.
