No Inverter or Generator Power

Before you call an electrician call the Generator Company. I had the fuse on our generator keep blowing and when I called Next Gen Power to review the problem he recommended increasing the size of the fuse. When I say fuse I’m referring to the red reset button that has 30 imprinted on the button.....this is the fuse you are referring to? If you have a Next Gen call 904-642-8555 in Florida. I spoke with Ken or Thomas or maybe it was Ken Thomas. Our boat (2018 R29S) was just a year old when this happened and he sent me one free of charge. The good news is that I have not had a problem since.

Thanks, It is a Mase 2.7. I emailed them and they called right away. Unfortunately I missed their call. I will call them tomorrow. Hopefully they can help out. Mine isn't a reset button. It's 2 regular blade fuses, a 3 amp and a 30 amp.

Update- Joe from Mase generators called me. He says it is probably the battery charger that's built into the generator that is damaged. Apparently it charges the battery that the generator runs off of. If that battery is also connected to the boat's charger there can be problems. My generator is connected to the thruster battery. I need to see if that battery is also connected to the boat charger. He suggested I disconnect the charger in the generator then replace the fuse again. If it doesn't blow then that is the problem.
The bad news is, that module is on the back side of the generator against the hull. I hope the whole thing doesn't have to come out of the boat. What a pain.
