My wife often goes to sleep earlier than I do, using the forward berth. I don't want to disturb her.
We use the "coffin" berth foe storage, so no room to stretch out there.
Has anybody made any modification in the saloon, or added a chair, etc, for a comfortable place to stretch out?

Put dinette in the bed configuration, then the forward facing seat closest to the wall pivots out and has a piece of wood to prop it at an angle.

Couch pillows on dinette seats and stretch out .... I just bought two 24x 24 throw pillows... that cured my two foot boat itis.
Other option, buy a bigger boat for a recliner!

I 3rd the table in the couch configuration. We Usually leave it in that configuration and eat in the cockpit. I also have purchased a bean bag chair that I can set on the bow of the boat to hang out on. Or bring it to the cockpit. It's the most comfortable seat in the house.

I am slowly discovering things about the boat and the other day I decided I wanted to “hang out” & nap up top where the action is… so I put the “table bunk” together and viola’ a cool spot to relax.

We'll do movie nights for two with the dinette in the down position. It stays that way 'til mid morning! Always a highlight.
