Here at Shilshole on our way to San Juans , but no shore power. Worked last night. I note there is a "breaker box" in the aft end of the port lazarette.,( that appears to be accessible from the battery compartment ) Is a there a fuse inside that box? I've flipped the rocker switch that says 30 amp. Marina checked their power ..it's ok. The first mate isn't happy. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

I understand how frustrating it can be to flip the a/c switch and not get shore power because it happens to us all the time. So far it’s always been the connection at the Marina pedestal that’s been the problem.
Some basic thoughts on getting this resolved:
Have you ensured that the pedestal breaker is on?
Have you tried connecting to a different pedestal or at least a different outlet on the pedestal if there is a second one?
Have you unplugged and replugged in both ends of your shore power cord?
I realize these are all basic ideas that you’ve probably tried but they have are the first things I try to get shore power working. And so far these steps have worked 100% of the time.

and....

Checked to see that power selector switch is turned to shore power.

Checked to see main AC switch on panel is not tripped

Thank you everyone for replying; this is the first mate.

Boat is 2015. Do you know if we have an ELCI breaker? If so, how do we re-set it?

This boat doesn't seem to have a shore power switch, other than on the breaker panel and the "master AC" switch in the lazarette.

Thank you again!

Yes, you should have an elci. Look in the aft of the port cockpit locker. There should be a breaker with a reset button.

Problem solved ... I think it was a bad outlet at Shilshole. Thank you everybody! Red Raven, we saw you at Oak Harbor. We're heading now to Swinomish Channel.

Yeah, we’ve experienced dozens of those at different marinas. In our experience about 1 in 20 marina outlets are bad for various reasons. Seems to get worse the further north you go. Most recently we experienced dead outlets at Ganges last month and Friday Harbor two months ago. With shore power problems we always assume it’s something wrong on the marina’s power pedestal......
