We have owned both the 29 and the 25. The 29 is much quieter than the 25 was.

The 27 should be quieter then the 25 since the engine is fully outside of the cabin. On the 25 the engine protrudes into the cabin (under the step). If you are talking the 25SC then the engine is also fully outside of the cabin and it should be quieter.
We have the R25 and we never found it to be excessively noisy. I see you own a sailboat. It will be noisier then that but it is much quieter then most power boats.

My 29 is incredibly quiet unless you decide to anchor overnight with the generator running. The generator is louder than the main engine but still tolerable. Of all of the boats I have owned, this is the best for both noise and amenities. Believe me, I have owned a dog or two.
