Grizzled veterans,
In an earlier post I asked about running up the east side of Georgia Strait from Bellingham. Thanks for the advice. It looks like we will make the dash from Bellingham to Vancouver around the Fraser River Delta, providing weather, waves and tides cooperates. Here is my second, but related question. Our goal (early August) is to head to Dent Island Lodge, on the mainland north of Stuart Island, as our northern turn-around point. We have wisely decided not to push to the Broughtons this year.
My brother-in-law in the big boat (47' Grand Banks), and chief route planner, wants to know if Tugnut folks have any must-not-miss places around
-Read Island
-Maurelle Island
-Sonora Island
-Quadra Island
that we should incorporate into our planning. We have the guides and ActiveCaptain, but would love to hear from the Tugnut clan if there is any sage advice.
Can't wait for the next big cruising adventure. And thanks.
Jeff
