So, it's the middle of the Winter and you're having a bad case of boating withdrawal! What are you to do? For Kara and I, we attended the Northeast Boat Show in Boston this past weekend. Salem MA Ranger Tug dealer Winter Island Yacht Yard had a 'big footprint' at the show. Peter Haywood and Wagner had R-23, R-25, R-27, R-29CB, and R-31CB tugs available for boarding. From the Kent Washington Ranger Tug factory, it was great to see General Manager Andrew Custis and Customer Service Manager Kenny Marrs there, meeting owners like myself, potential owners, as well as answering questions and providing technical support. Being completely objective, the lines to board the Rangers were the longest of any manufacturer at the show. It is a great testament as to the interest these vessels generate. As owners of our R-31 CB JACPOT II, Kara and I were introduced to some potential owners where we fielded a number of questions regarding many aspects of our ownership experiences. It also was very cool to run into Michele & Rick, two future R31 owners who posted a very nice video of the R-31 CB on YouTube a couple of years ago. Fellow R-31 CB owner David Dubin of the NANCY JEAN also stopped by to chat and hang out a bit. All-in-all, a really good show! Now, how many days until launch time in the Northeast..?
