WE NEED TO ALSO TRY TO CATCH UP WITH J TREV FROM JACKSON,, KEEP THE THREAD ALIVE,, GOT NO CLUE.. STEVE AND TINA
 
For now the plan is to launch at B&W and take it from there! We have never stayed at Pirates Lair so that would be a new one for us. We used to moor at Oxbow so we do know how nice that one is.
 
It is with considerable regret that we are going to have to cancel our plans to participate this year. Brenda works in the wildland fire business and her schedule is subject to frequent modification. Also we simply are not ready to be that far from home in a new vessel quite yet. We're pretty bummed. There is good news, we now have a shop space large enough to accomodate the QB so we can do a complete run-up (out of the brutal Redding summer sunshine) to have her ready for next year or later this summer trips. We are just stretched a tad thin at the moment on time. Sorry, we were very much looking forward to meeting other TurNuts. It is also our hope that we will be getting the boat ready for service with the CG-AUX on Shasta or Whiskytown later in the season, so if anyone comes up this way we will be happy to have you stop and say hello. Also we can provide local intel for anyone who wants to visit...all assuming there is still a lake when you get there... :lol:
Thanks again and smooth sailing. We'll be watching the thread to see how the cruise goes and wishing we were there...

The city is quite a haul for a three day weekend. Let's leave it open for now and see how it all plays out. You are correct, currently it appears to be just Solitude and Not a Clue.

Indeed, Blue Bayou is "back in town," after a month in the San Juan Islands. Looks like a mid-July event starting at B&W Marina on Hwy 12, right? What, exactly, is the current plan?
