November Photo Contest - 2021

I have to say, you all have been sending in some amazing photos! As a reminder, the theme for December will be Christmas & Holiday decorations on your boat. We've seen some spectacular decorations in the past, and are looking forward to what you have for us this year.

"This is dolphin piling on the dock at Refuge cove - the distortion comes from the ripple our approaching boat made - the image is upside down with the dock cut off."

"We were crossing the Strait of Georgia by Texada Island a couple years ago when the fires were really bad in the area. This is a mid day photo of the mainland side by Garden Bay Area."

"Last time we were in Canada, we spent some time in Roscoe Inlet above Shearwater. This was the most beautiful area with twists and turns and surprises all the way to the end. I don’t have the name of this bay, but it was magnificent in all directions."

"This photo shows more reflections in the sky than water. It was taken on Washington Island in Wisconsin. The marina is small and remote, but hosts the best nightlife that nature offers… stars, birds, bugs, and calm friendly islanders 🙂"

"At first glance the reflections of street lights around “The Lyons Den” look impressive. Upon closer inspection you can see that the poor car owner has driven his car right down the boat ramp where it’s head and taillights remained on for quite some time.
Don’t worry the driver was fine."

"Here’s a shot of Steinsvika in Poulsbo on a quiet morning before celebrating May 17, Norwegian Constitution Day. Nothing like a moment of reading in the cockpit to reflect on our heritage, the beauty of the PNW, and start a fantastic day!"

"My Ranger 25SC docked on the Occechobe waterway, bound for the Gulf coast.
Departure port Norfolk, Virginia. Spent 9 months cruising the east coast and Florida's west coast. The " False Cape " took it all in stride. Proud to be a part of the Ranger Tug family."

"We had Caladesi Island all to ourselves. 100 yard walk to a pristine beach, soft, white sand and clear, warm gulf water."

The color has not been enhanced, and is solely due to the reflection of the evening sun."

New to our R-27 in August 2021 We ventured out on a weekend get away in early October. Making reservations at Dock Street Marina in Tacoma WA.
South Puget Sound.

Beautiful small public marina. It's located at the Tacoma museum of glass.Great destination point. Walking down the dock after dark, I was intrigued by the beautiful bridge in the background and all the reflection. So I took this snapshot of our R-27.

"Here are a couple of sunset pictures... Sunset in the Altamaha River in Georgia. Lynn and I were on our way south where we will winter over in. Marathon FL. We are there now. I was a calm afternoon with and I was able to capture the sun's reflection off he side of our 2011 R29, Sea Shanty. Picture taken with a modest Iphone 5SE."

"Sunset in Buttonwood Sound on the gulf side of Key Largo. Another fantastic sunset reflection captured against the side of our 2011 R29."

"We have found that the R29 Classic is a perfect boat to cruise the Atlantic Intercoastal Waterway. This is our 2nd trip south. 2 years ago we took her south to Marathon then up the west coast of FL to Tarpon Springs, then south and crossed FL through Lake Okeechobee before returning to our homeport of Southport, NC. It was a great trip and we timed it to attend the 2020 SWFL Rendevous."

From Matt T.

"Our Ranger Tug takes us to remote areas of Prince William Sound, Alaska, where reflections in the water create tangible feelings of peace and solitude. The R27 “Clementine” makes this all possible!"
