Hi All,

For those of you who have been around for a while, you might remember our photo contests. The theme for this contest will be "Summer Fun"—
We'd like to see what kind of fun you were up to with your boat this summer. Did you go on a long cruise? Did you take some friends out on the water? Post a picture of your summer fun here!

To enter the contest, reply to this post with your photo and a description about what's going on to accompany it. One photo/entry per user. The Photo Contest will be open until 11:59 PM PST on 10/27/2024. After all the submissions have been collected, factory personnel will vote on the winner.

One winner for each brand will be selected (Ranger Tugs or Cutwater) and will win a pair of Ranger Tugs or Cutwater jackets!

Please Note
This thread is for contest submissions only; replies which do not submit a picture for the contest will be moderated and promptly deleted. Once voting has started, you are not allowed to edit your entry.

Our new 29 (June '24), Slow Ride, at Milliken State Harbor, Detroit. We are on our way back from her maiden voyage from Ashtabula, Ohio, across Lake Erie, up the Detroit River, across Lakes St. Clair and Huron to Mackinaw and back! 1045 statute miles, 14 different harbors and 23 days! A great trip and a great boat!

This summer, we figured out how to attach a hammock in the cockpit of our R29S. Here I am relaxing on anchor at Sidney Spit Marine Park.

We took our R43, Oreana, up to Toba Inlet and hiked up to this ridgeline with a view of Double Island, Redonda Island and the mouth of Waddington Channel

After a lovely dinner on shore, took the dinghy back to my R29 and snapped this scene of over 30 cormorants enjoying the sunset from my boat.

You can only imagine the presents they left behind!! Needless to say it was a memorable (and fragrant!) night sleeping on board.

Of course it is now family legend and we laugh about it practically every time we dinghy to our boat… and isn’t that exactly what summer fun on your Ranger Tug is all about?

Rideau Canal Ottawa Canada.jpeg
At the end of September, I spent two weeks on the Rideau Canal from Kingston to Ottawa and return doing the 47 locks solo twice.
The R29 CB, a rare sight in Eastern Canada, attracted a lot of compliments and "thumbs up" along the way! Photo taken in lock 5 in front of the Fairmont Chateau Laurier in Ottawa.

My husband’s teenage grandson and friends enjoyed a summer weekend with our 2014 28 Cutwater, Morpheus, in Port St Joe, Florida Gulf Coast, cruising around beautiful St Joe Bay

Not much of a “boat” photo…
but it was my first time “glamping” in “Sweetie”… family has Covid, except me, therefore I went to stay on my Studio apartment on the water.
Woke up early to see this amazing red sky in Hamburg Cove, Lyme, CT.
The RTug’s red lights added to the effect I think.IMG_7124.jpegIMG_7122.jpeg

We spent 10 days on the Erie Canal on out Ranger 21. Cant say enough about the friendly and kind folks we met along the canal. Each town had visitor centers with showeres and local guides. We could have spent many more days exploring this great area. This is one of our stops in Brockport, NY. Jonathan LittleredtugIMG_1806.jpg

Hi there ... my friends, Eldon and Pat, with a 2017 28' Cutwater are not technical so they asked me to post their Cutwater the Yknot. This photo shows them heading out after launching at a cove on Turtle Creek in Sarasota, Florida. They are heading for Sarasota Bay which leads to the Gulf of Mexico.
