Fellow Tugnuts,

We're starting October's photo contest early, and with that - This month is another "double winner" month, so there will be two grand prizes given away, or double your chances of winning!

Fall is here and it's really making itself known in here in the Pacific Northwest, nonetheless we had such a fun summer looking back, from the Ganges & Poets Cove cruise, the Broughton's Cruise and our Tugnuts Rendezvous. Speaking of the Rendezvous, it was so fun to see see everyone, the only thing we could've asked for is more time to get to talk to everyone! We really couldn't ask for a better community and for that, we're extremely grateful. That brings us to this months theme, Tugnuts! We want to see you all out there having fun on your boats!

This month’s theme is: Tugnuts! Simply put, just you and/or your friends and family out and having fun on your boat!

It’ll be put up for a vote by the folks here at the factory and TWO lucky winners (this month is a double-winner month!) will receive a pair of custom embroidered Ranger Tugs or Cutwater boats jackets.

To enter the contest, just send a photo with a description or comment to briandickhaut@rangertugs.com

I’ll get us started with a couple shots of our recent 2019 Tugnuts Rendezvous!

HI Brian,
Who won August and September? I must have missed it.
Susan

From Gary and Sherry C.

"My wife (Sherry) and I braving the cold, wet, and wind of winter salmon fishing in Puget Sound."

From the Schnack family:

"Some of the most fun we have on our Ranger Tug comes when we auction off boat rides for charity. I'm proud to say that we've raised over $5000 dollars over the last few years with our "Burgers & Boat Ride" auction items. Lucky bidders get the novelty of boating to our local In-N-Out Burger or just spending an evening out on the water. The benefactors have been local elementary & middle schools, as well as a local childhood leukemia foundation that's very dear to us, The Luke Tatsu Johnson Foundation."

Thanks Brian!

From Brendan I.

"This is a photo taken at Frenchy’s Cove, Anacapa Island. Anacapa is 12 miles offshore of our home in Ventura, Ca. We have had our R27 for just over a year and have spent nearly 20 weekends out at the amazing Channel Islands."

From Bob and Jann B.

"Photo of me at Roche Harbor during the Ranger Tug Cutwater Rendezvous. The photo was taken by a passerby as a way to meet new people. Great idea! At the time of the Rendezvous we had owned our boat less than a week and this was the first time using the clever cockpit seat design. Thanks to her for the fond reminder of the wonderful event and beautiful setting."

From John D.

"We had a fun and very productive fishing season on our first year with our new Cutwater 28, Pau Hana. This photo is from the last day of Coho season and both my son and son in law landed these two Cohos during a doubleheader. I was skippering and busy netting both fish. Nothing beats the thrill of having two fish on at the same time."

From Jonathan H.

"Day 5 of my Erie Canal trip with my Ranger 21EC found me in Seneca Falls - the model town for the movie It's a Wonderful Life. After a quick shower at the boaters center, I wandered into town where I found an exceptional little pub. Too many small plates later - and just the right amount of local brews - I wandered aglow through the warm fall streets under a full moon to arrive back at my home on the water for the night."

From Jerry W.

"Anchored with our Friends in Desolation Sound!"

From Bob A.

"It was a most memorable trip from Seward, AK out into PWS. I didn’t include pictures of the spotted prawns we caught."

From George and Liz

"Enjoying the "shoulder season" on Lake Powell, AZ-UT. Perfect weather: 80 degree days with 50 degree nights. Most of the popular bays and canyons have few visitors and the winds are mostly calm. A trailer-boater must!
Thanks, George and Liz 2017 R-23 Tugnuts: az9133bm"

From David S.

"We enjoyed having our son home for two months this summer. Fishing, bird and whale watching were highlights of several trips on Tokitae. If I had a telephoto shot of the J Pod off San Juan Island on Labor Day weekend, I’d submit that. Second best are pictures of my son birding off Lopez Island and a nice Coho caught off Edmonds."

From Brett & Jasa D.

"We met lots of people at last years rendezvous and even more at this years. This couple has two dogs and two paddle boards, they all go for rides in the evening. I guess the dogs wait all day to go for rides! We had a great view all weekend on the end of our dock, made a lot of use of the command bridge!"

From Janine M.

"Boating in the fall is the best! Beautiful scenery, and very few boats on the water. We were the only boat at Penrose Point State Park."

From Bob D.

"Dave and Ben on Tokitea this past July out of Clallam Bay, Trying to keep up with a R-21?"
