Bob and Kate of Bobcat were in Poulsbo last week and they talked to the Marina manager and gave her my name and contact info. She called me this week and offered some very special deals if we would like to come to Poulsbo for an Octoberfest celebration. The dates would be flexible so let me know your thoughts. They have a local brewery that would be one of the major sponsors of the event. It sounds like fun to me.

That would be very cool... A little jaunt over to Poulsbo sounds great to us for an Octoberfest shindig and lots of chinwags... 😀 Count us in.

Bob YOU ARE on a roll here... 🙂 Thank you for suggesting this.

Beer and boating? Woo! I would be hip to this as well, date depending. Early on in October we are booked up with other beer or Berner related funtivities.

And their brewery is good, too.

Did I mention I brew? 😀

Paul: A Good point... If necessary one could retreat to an overnight on the Poulsbo guest dock... so long as you can make it back to the boat.

That sounds like a great time and we would be there...but I'll be out of the area all fall. Maybe next year !

I like it...I have spent a few nights in Poulsbo marina before and, with one exception, it was lots of fun. It's a fun town to troll around in, and close to lots of other interesting boating venues.

Count me in.

Thanks for the suggestion, Sally and I are definitely interested. We are booked from August 18th til the last weekend otherwise we will there!

Yvonne and I are on....just around the corner!

Why not!! Poulsbo, beer, Puget Sound in October, count us in!!

Sounds like a perfect get aweigh to me. We loved going there at the end of the year. If the dates were late September or earlier in October it would be best weather wise. It seems to get windy after the middle of October.
I will have a conference to attend in October sometime around the middle of the month, but it hasn't been set yet.

I've stayed at that marina and like the shops there. It sounds fun! Late September or the first weekend in October works best for me, but let's go with what is best for the group 🙂

I may be two months behind on TugNuts, but we would enjoy meeting everyone in October.

Earlier in October is the best, as we have get out before the Fireweed blooms all the way up.

Yeah.... just PMed Bob&Nita to see if this shindig-fest is still in the making. Oct weekends are 5, 12, 19 and 26. Mind you, I'm personally not stuck on it being on a weekend -- any day suits us.

I would like to thank Fred and Diane for reminding me of the Octoberfest, I had absolutely forgotten. I called Jannese at the Port of Poulsbo this morning and we discussed available dates for our cruise for Octoberfest. Nita will be on a trip until October 12th so we discussed October 18 as a viable date. This seems to work for Jannese. She suggested that we could put together a road trip to three breweries in the area for $27.00 per couple or simply visit the one in Poulsbo for our event. Please let me know if you are interested and if this date works for you. Jannese stated that September would not work. I think this could be fun.

Any other Ideas?

I marked it on our calendar...Willie said if Fireweed was still blooming. A visit to the local brewery works for us. No road trips, thanks.

Please add Robyn and me to the list of anticipated attendees. You might check with Clearwater Casino regarding their shuttle service for those who would be interested in partaking of their gaming and/or food service. They have a reputation for a very good Sunday buffet.

Bev and Jim are up for the trip, probably our last before we head back to Surprise AZ.

Gill & Barry with Laxey are in.
