The official 2014 Roche Harbor Rendezvous registration and payment site is now open, and includes a complete current schedule of events, as well as resources for a variety of activities and travel options and accommodations for folks who aren't coming by boat.

Indicate the number of crew/guests attending on your boat, and complete the information form. Payment will be made through PayPal. Fluid Motion, LLC, will be handling the funds on our behalf. A PayPal account is not required - they will accept major credit cards. Service charges will be deducted from your registration fees, not added.

There is a space to enter docking requests which will be handled, as available, in the order they are received. We have the entire guest dock reserved, so there is plenty of room and power. We are planning on 100 or more boats!

Remember, the other rendezvous topic thread is unofficial - intended to get the dates out and generate some interest and response. This is the real deal. See you there!

Official Registration: 2014 Roche Harbor Rendezvous

PM me if you have any questions.

Cheers,

Bruce

Jim and Bev just registered with Roche Harbor. Looking forward to a great time and
seeing many friends.

Bruce

We have registered Buoy Navigator. At the Anacortes Points North Seminar I had talked with Jeff and Andrew about having a USCG Auxiliary table at the Roche Harbor event. We would have current boating information and have people there to do courtesy vessel examinations. I am a VE myself.

Thanks Robert - outstanding. I'll include the USCG Auxiliary in the schedule. Saturday?

Registered as well. I just learned that the Power Squadron is doing a flare shoot in Friday Harbor for the Nordic Tug rendezvous at Roche Harbor this May in order to get rid of outdated flares. I wonder if we might do this sometime as well. Sounds like a blast (sorry).

Sounds like a good idea...might light a fire under the celebration.

Aginglawyer with a mind like that you are cleared to resume practice.

Bruce:

Our family (Gill and I, plus son and two daughters with their spouses and children) normally stay at Roche Harbour each year as a family gathering. We typically try and rent one of the houses up on the hill -- the Fox Trot house is our favorite as it holds all of us easily.

I've registered Laxey with Gill and me as the crew members, and of course Chloé and Jake 😀.

What is the policy if a few of my family members were to wander down to the Tug lineup on the guest dock to gawk and sightsee, etc. We would have 4 grandchildren aged 6, 5, 3 & 3. I know some of them would very much like to attend the Crabbing and Shrimping seminar. Please PM me and we can discuss this aspect over the phone if you wish.

Alternatively, it's also possible the family might rent one or two of the water front cabins up on the hill that actually face the guest dock and with the plane landing strips behind, if the the Fox Trot house wasn't available for rent for the Rendezvous weekend.

Thanks... Barry

Barry - your family is more than welcome to gawk and sight see. Bring the kids and grand kids and hit the docks. Children 16 and under are free and easy. Register the rest of your adult family (crew) accordingly.

Make your reservations for land accommodations soon. We anticipate good attendance.

Cheers,

Bruce
