The trailer for my R27 has oil immersed hubs. I am not familiar with these. What is the reccomeded maintenance for them.
Thanks for any advice

Have same. Was told by ez loader rep that as long as oil shows at least 2/3 full through view window and does not appear milky you are okay. Wheels turn relatively slowly around an axel as far as rotating machinery goes. Oil can be replaced and drained if you feel it is necessary but brakes are a bigger worry on a trailer. Check temps with laser every few hours while you are traveling if you don't already do so to head off issues.

As already noted as long as the oil looks like oil you're OK. Doesn't hurt to change the oil every season along with other routine maintenance items. Even a small amount of water will show up as milky looking oil. You can't miss it if you're paying attention. Every time you stop for whatever reason it's a good habit to do a visual and touch test on the hubs.
