So I have search the forums and found similar topics but not one that seems to directly addresses this issue. On my 2013 R-27 that I have had only for a few months I have recently noticed that under throttle (even with just a slight increase to the throttle) my oil pressure jumps from its normal 50 psi or so up to 100 psi (all the way to the right). I know that as you increase speed the oil pressure will increase, but a swing of 40-50psi seems pretty generous in my option.
I have checked the oil and its level is fine and color is good. Engine was warmed up and not cold when I was noticing the swings in pressure. Everything seems to be running fine. No vibration or rough running from the engine.
Is this swing in pressure normal and I just haven't been paying attention all the time?
thanks
