We are planning on arriving on Friday in time for the chili feed and leaving on Sunday afternoon. Put us down for supplying shredded cheese!

Just a reminder. If you are planning on attending please submit your check for $5.00 to reserve our slips. There are going to be other clubs there. I have received nineteen checks and we have twenty-eight who have indicated they will attend. We have a place close to the marina for Friday night chili but we need more volunteers for the menu. As of now we have 2 for Chili including us, 2 for dessert, one for appetizers and one bringing grated cheese.

Bob as indicated in my PM, we will be driving up on Saturday so we wont be at the Friday night event to bring something. Let me know if we can help out/contribute on Saturday somehow. We have taken the leap to a 31 but its not built yet so we remain boatless. Betty doesn't drink beer or perhaps I could have talked her into flying home from our Vegas trade show early!
 
Someone inquired if Poulsbo is dog friendly. If you are referring to the marina the answer is yes. There is a nice extended grassy area right at the top of the ramp from the marina complete with doggie bags and receptacles. It is a park like setting and there will be many dogs there. As to the town we have walked our dogs along the main shopping streets with no issues. It will be busy though on the weekend.

Saturday, October 19:

10:00 a.m. Meet with Jannese at the Gig Harbor Yacht Office where we had the chili feed Friday night. She will go over the scavenger hunt.

(Jannese has put together a scavenger hunt for our group. She has come up with around 7 riddles you will have to solve. Each riddle identifies a store. Once you know the store, you will go there and collect an envelope which contains a poker card. At 2 p.m. we will meet at "Valholl Brewery" and at that time, everyone will open their envelopes. The best poker hand wins a gift basket. As part of the gift basket, the port will be donating a gift certificate for 10 gallons of free fuel.)

5:00 p.m. - We can meet again for drinks and appetizers at the Gig Harbor Yacht Office. Dinner is on your own. You may go back to the brewery or select one of the many restaurants in town.

Valholl Brewery

Every Saturday in October Valholl Brewery will be offering some amazing food from a mobile smoker and will have live music!

The brewery is small and they will have a tent outside to accommodate the overrun of people.

The beer garden is offering:
$5.00 brisket or pulled pork sandwich w/chips
$7.00 with beans and potato salad
$2.50 per Rib so a dinner plate with 2 ribs would still be in the $7.00 range
$3.00 Brats

The beer garden will go from 2-8 or so.. and the music is scheduled from 4-7.

It looks like the Sun Gods may be smiling on us for next weekend...looking forward to seeing you all there on Saturday. We plan to arrive late morning from Everett.

Last we were in Pouslbo, we discovered a wonderful little tapas place, The Paella Bar. They accept reservations for parties of 6+. Would anyone like to join us at 6:30pm for dinner? We can make a reservation if there's interest.

last minute my Friday and Saturday opened up and I would like to throw my hat in the ring as well, I will likely arrive Thursday late afternoon and stay through Saturday.

please let me know if I should just make arrangements with Port of Poulsbo regarding slip assignment and payment.
