old ranger tug

Looking at a 1984 ranger tug r18 troller with trailer and 9.9 Yamaha, excellent condition. Have the original drawings from ranger tug, owner manual sail gear and original sail. Cute boat but have no idea how to price a purchase. Any help would be appreciated. I talked with Ranger tugs and they were aware of the build by Smithson but had very little info. Thank you

For what its worth....NADA book on 1984 ranger tug is 1650 average retail. Most people find NADA to not be very significant in older boat values.....especially relatively obscure boats. Seems that the value will be as perceived by both buyer and seller motivation....best of luck on the deal......please post pics.......

I think I've seen pics of two R18's. Please post pics. NADA is of no help in pricing old boats that run forever. I'm assuming is has the pointed stern?

This boat is listed on Craig's list for $16500.00 , has oregon numbers on it,looks like it's located in Redmond, Or. Has been on Craigslist for over a month. Very cute but way over priced compared with others on the market. Good luck Bob
