This may be a silly question, but I'm new to Ranger Tugs. We recently purchased a 2019 R27 OB. It's getting close to being ready for prime time. There have been a few things I've had to do to get it ready. One thing I'm scratching my head over is a good location for a waste basket. I know it's silly, but where have other people put them? The other question is perhaps more important. What have other people done for a wine rack? That's a very serious question 🙂 Any thoughts?

Look at Channel Surfing on YouTube or at https://www.letsgochannelsurfing.com/. Martin has done excellent work talking about his R27.
We used his advice on many outfitting choices before and after receiving our R31 CB.

On our C30 we used two of the item below, 1 in the galley and 1 in the head. They fit very nicely on the countertop in the galley and shelf in the head. We found in the galley they would be enough for 2-4 days, then we tie and move to a larger bag out of the way or (more usually) dispose wherever we are

It can be a trick to find bags for them but many XXL doggie bags can work, among other 1-2 gallon options. Would definitely choose these again.

Our boat had a built in wine fridge. For our new boat we're going mostly with boxed wine -- fits anywhere! Some of it is terrible but these days some is OK and is easy to deal with.

A lot depends on how long you stay out of port. I'm mostly doing fishing/day trips and, hence, I don't want anything permanent or inside the pilothouse. I have a couple https://www.seasucker.com/collections/marine devices since I also don't like drilling holes. I reuse plastic grocery bags and hang them onto a SeaSucker device outside in the cockpit area. Typically, I have two bags, one for recycling and one for trash. That's plenty for day sailors or short trips and extremely simple. You also have a trash bag option from SeaSucker: https://www.seasucker.com/products/waste-band-medium-black?_pos=2&_sid=19c52ba76&_ss=r

I can’t find a pic, but I have a hanging trash can that fits over the cupboard door when in use. I take it off while underway.

hello,

I have a 2021 R25. I put small rubbermaid waste basket under table. I velcroed it to the table leg. It works great for me. Doesn't take much room and out of way although it takes small bags. And doesn't get in way when sitting at table

I've bought a 1.8GL and 3GL version of these for the head and saloon/galley trash: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09FKBRRSV/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1

The small one I used the stick on mount on the head wall so it can be removed during showers. The large one I use the hook mount where it can sit on the outside of inside of the Cutwater 28 galley cabinet doors, or hang from the upper hand rail above the stove.

The galley trash fills up quickly, but mostly we've only been out a few days and at a marina frequently. Our cockpit cooler is usually empty, and have used it for storing of clean recycling or well tied trash bags until we make a trip to the garbage cans.
