Is there an option of an opening or otherwise vented option from the glass manufacturer of the C24 . Florida boat gets way to hot on a summer day. TInt/vents/slides . We have A/C but on plane past 20mph it cuts out from lack of flow .

Hi Never Classy,

No, there are no vent option, as the boat has sliding windows and hatches on the cabin top and in the v-berth that can be opened. They provide for very good flow. Just make sure they are set to a proper angle for the speed which you will be moving, and the lock knobs are tight so they do not accidentally fly open and get damaged. Hope this helps.

Cheers,

Ralf

I have a C24 Coupe and I had the front and side windows tinted with ceramic and that helped quite a bit. I also went to Walmart and got a couple sheets of white coated poster board and cut out four inserts a little smaller then the outside of the screens. They go on top of the screens to block out the sun which also helped and was cheap.

There are a good number of hatches for ventilation, however my boat a RT25SC is a very wet boat. Anything more than 6 inch waves and wind will allow water spray to enter the hatches. Your best approach in hot conditions is to close all windows & hatches, start the generator and turn on the A/C.
