I have an r23 with the F200 outboard. I have some breaks in the outboard rigging hose from positioning a dingy on the swim step. I am looking to replace the hose with an aftermarket sunbrella zip on boot. Has anyone done that? Does it give the cabling enough protection? Note: I am not a mechanical person so will not be attempting to replace the hose before the next service... after the season. Thanks all.
