I have a force 10 propane oven on my 2020 R27. The burners seems to work fine but the oven does not.

I can turn the oven on and it operates well for maybe 10-15 minutes, but eventually goes out. It restarts right away. After restart the flame from the burner is normal for a few minutes then flares up from time to time but will calm down to normal...and eventually go out again.

The gauge reads 80 pound whether its hooked up or not, or if I switch tanks. Flaky gauges arent uncommon though. I don't think a gauge issue would cause this.

The tank is full as verified by trying to fill it. No kinks in the line that I can see.

Before I go through troubleshooting steps that might end up messing up another dinner, or cause me to stare at an empty oven for an hour, has anyone had this problem and solved it?

Could be the thermocouple.

Yep, could be? I would start simple. Have you cleaned and checked the burner itself? After that and there cheap enough, I would replace the thermal coupling.

Thanks. The stove is brand new and completely clean so I’ll see what Ranger says about a replacement thermocouple.

We had a somewhat similar situation on our boat so I called Force 10, which happens to be a local business here. The manager/receptionist/tech person got me to try pulling the oven knob off gently and then only put it partway back on, that is, don’t push it back on tightly all of the way in. That did the trick for our stove. I suggest that you try what I did and before you get to replacing parts etc try calling the company. They were very helpful in our situation. Good luck.
