Been looking for a couple of years for a perfect small sized dehumdifier to put on the boat to keep humidity down / keep mildew under control / keep the boat smelling better ...

I found this little bugger and it is perfect. I sit it behind the conn seat next to the sink and run the little hose down into the sink strainer hole and it is working perfectly ... drains and does everything like it is supposed to. This is especially useful if your marina frowns on leaving a heater running when you are not onboard.

2 dry z air in cabin,2 in engine room, 1 in each stern locker-over winter

I am going to buy the humidifier that wa7plug recommended. Tried a $40 one on Amazon that did not work well. Been looking for awhile. This looks perfect. Thanks.

That unit looks great. And FWIW if someone wants a larger unit, I can also recommend this one. Being larger, it is more difficult to store, though. I would take it off the boat before cruising:

Ivation 19 Pint Small-Area Desiccant Dehumidifier Compact and Quiet - with Continuous Drain Hose for Smaller Spaces, Bathroom, Attic, Crawlspace and Closets - for Spaces Up to 410 Sq Ft https://a.co/d/fxh7ALL

Used for 3 years to keep C30 at consistent 45% humidity all winter. A key feature for any such unit is a drain hose instead of just a tray. Also, if you'll be away from the boat for long periods, an auto-restart option in case of power loss (not a big concern for me, but for remote boats, it might be).
