Happy Holidays everyone.

We’re excited to kick off our first Tugnuts photo contest. For this month’s theme we want to see your biggest and best holiday decorations on your Ranger Tug or Cutwater Boat. When it comes to lights and decorations… the more, the merrier!

At the beginning of each month we’ll post a theme for that month’s photo contest. This month we'll take submissions until December 19th. At that point, we’ll print out the submissions and post the photos up in one of our factories for our boat builders to judge. We’ll announce this month’s winner right here on Tugnuts on Friday, December 21st.

Each month’s winner will receive two Ranger Tugs or Cutwater Boats embroidered jackets!

Please send your photos with a brief description to me at sambisset@rangertugs.com and we'll post them in this thread. We will be posting some of the photos on facebook also so please let us know if you don't want your photo shared on facebook.

thanks!

Here's another good one. Thanks to Port Boat House for sharing. This one won them $1,000 which they donated to charity. Nice work!

Sorry PBH guys buy you're not eligible for the jackets

From Richard Z.: for the 2nd year in a row our boat was nominated/requested by Silver Gate Yacht Club (SGYC) to deliver Santa to the docks for the children’s Christmas party. It was a very popular event! My friend Francois on the bow is holding his ears as I warned him that I was requested to blow my horn.

Hi all, I'm Brian, I'm working with Sam in the marketing department here at Ranger Tugs and Cutwater Boats. I've been busy catching up with all the info here on Tugnuts and have to say, I'm amazed by the friendly, knowledgable, helpful community we have here!

Next up, we've received another great entry this time from Rex D: RT-25 Tug Time, Athens, Alabama at Joe Wheeler State Park Parade of Lights, Tennessee River Rogersville, Alabama

Here's another great entry! From Gini, this is Echo, an R27, outfitted with Sammy the sea monster, as well as a full kit of additional lighting for the Christmas Ships Parade which takes place on the Columbia and Willamette rivers.

It’s time, we have a winner! Yesterday during our company Christmas lunch in Monroe, WA our boatbuilders voted on their favorite photos. It was close but there was a clear winner. We’ve decided to award a prize for second place, who will receive some assorted Ranger Tugs goodies. We will contact the winners to coordinate delivery of their prizes and post a photo of the jackets in this thread. Thank you to everyone who participated!

First place goes to John and Carol Dorsey’s R29CB ‘Anna Mae'

Merry Christmas everyone, check back after the New Year for January's Photo Contest!

I love the Christmas pic. I also noticed the nice rear enclosure. Does anyone know how to get in touch with John and Carol? I would love to have some pics of how the enclosure is fitted around the steps going up to the bridge on the 29CB.
