PNW Ranger Tugs Rendezvous 2012

It's not too late to sign up. We're putting together final counts for meals, moorage, etc. Plans are firming up for events and presentations. There'll be lots of buzz from folks who have just returned from Points North. Check the website for updates, including final registration and payment.

Send me a PM or reply to this thread. We'd all love to see you in Bremerton.

Also, if you're coming, check the new thread "Talk to Garmin at the Bremerton Rendezvous" if you'd like to have them stop by your boat to update your plotter, troubleshoot something, or answer a few questions. Reply to the thread and indicate what you'd like them to address. I'll create a queue (not a schedule) and they'll take the boats in order.

Cheers

After finally figuring out our schedule for next month, it looks like we will be able to make it to Bremerton again this year. Due to work and school constraints and trying to get up there from Utah, it looks like we will bring the Allotrope to Bremerton Saturday morning. So we should be there for all the festivities on Saturday. If we can get there earlier we will let you know. We are looking forward to seeing everyone again. Doug, Jan and Max/Allotrope

Glad you can join us, Allotrope crew! We're at 60. Come on and join us.

Add us to the list: John and Susan Vander Hoek, plan on attending with our boat, Bula that we purchased, last February. Bula is a R-25 and is moored in Miller Bay, Indianola, WA. We plan on arriving Friday evening, September 7th.
Looking forward to meeting some of you Tugnuts, that I have been following online, as guest. You other tugnutters and Ranger factory support, played a huge part in our comfort level of purchasing a Ranger tug. We love our boat!!!!

Welcome Bula, Peregrino, and crews. Keep 'em coming!

Welcome C-26 Sybil Jean and crew!

Welcome R-29 Shiraz Trader!

Please revise our registration for the 2012 PNW Rendezvous. Pam will be unable to attend this year, so I will be coming solo.

Making a list and checking it a bunch of times. We've got some new sign-ups and we've lost a few along the way.

Please check the list on the web site and make sure we've got it right. If you're coming and we've missed listing you, or if you haven't signed up, please let me know - it's not to late. If you're on the list and your plans have changed, same deal.

We're need to have a good count by this weekend to get all the food, wine, tequila, and other good stuff ordered. Gonna have a good time!

Also, if you haven't already, reply to the Talk to Garmin thread if you'd like them to visit your boat. They'll have techs there starting Thursday so everyone can get the attention they need.

Thanks,

Bruce

Unfortunately the Laurie Ann won't be able to make the Rendezvous this year. We'll be thinking of you all and hope you have a fantastic time!

Laurie and John

As we get closer to the Rendezvous we were wondering when the schedule for the Friday Forums will be posted?

Best Regards,

John and Laurie, we will miss you guys.
Bob and Nita

We're one week away - here are a few reminders.

Moorage fees should be paid upon arrival at the marina office. You'll save yourself some time at the desk if you are pre-registered with the port. Information is here.

Registration fees will be paid when you check in on the breakwater. Bring your moorage receipt with you. Information is here.

It's not to late to commit to a silent auction donation. Funds generated support Sound Experience and our future events. Information is here.

And let's not forget about the 2012 Veggie Race - everything you need to know is here.

Thanks,

Bruce

Hello to All:

Looking forward to the rendevous - now that we have our boat!

Recall there is discounted fuel in LA Connor. Can any one advise on details as to which fuel station?

Thanks

Dawn-MArie & Frank
Blue Horizons

The fuel station is the first one on the main land side as you are heading South into La Conner. Just tell them that you are with the Ranger Tug group and the discount is $0.08 a gallon. The cheapest fuel going South is at Brownsville behind Bainbridge Island on the way to Bremerton. You might hail them when you get close and ask their fuel prices. If you are going to stay in the Sound area for a while, Des Moines , which is on the way to Tacoma, has always been the lowest price. Again always check the price.
I hope this helps.
Bob

We will not be attending the Rendezvous 2012 this year. We have other obligation.

Bruce, the weather link is great, and thanks for making arrangements for the fabulous forecast, you do great work 🙂

If any of the Gulf Islands Tugnutters are monitoring, wondering when you are heading down?

We arrived in Bedwell Harbour yesterday afternoon after a very lumpy crossing of Georgia Strait. We hope to meet up with Frank & Dawn-Marie on Blue Horizons in Anacortes later today and make our way south to Oak Harbour for Wednesday, then arrive in Bremerton on Thursday.

Looking forward to a great gathering. Safe travels everyone

Keith & Kathy

Please excuse Warren and Debbie Ivers from attending. My mother past away yesterday and I have family matters to take care of. Was looking forward to bringing the Teacup. Perhaps I can swing buy without the boat on Saturday after the funeral in Bremerton.
