Poets Cove Cruise June 4-7, 2015

We are pleased to announce the second annual factory cruise to Poets Cove Resort and Spa for the weekend of June 4-7, 2015. Poets Cove is located in Bedwell Harbour on South Pender Island in the Canadian Gulf Islands. Poets Cove Marina has been rated one of the top ten anchorages in the Western Hemisphere, according to Motor Boating and Sailing magazine! We have reserved slips at the marina http://www.poetscove.com/marina/ and Beaumont Marine Park is right next door for those that would prefer to anchor/mooring buoy. http://www.vancouverisland.com/parks/?id=504 This cruise does require clearing Canadian Customs in Bedwell Harbour and is a Pre-requisite to our Desolation Sound Cruise. (Participation in prior cruises also counts toward the pre-requisite) Moorage is $1.40/ft per night. There are no additional fees for Ranger Tug and Cutwater owners. Itinerary for Poets Cove:

We currently have 44 boats signed up for Poets Cove. We confirmed with the marina this morning that we have room for 11 more boats. If you have not signed up there is still room to join in on the fun!

Moorage: Everyone will need to call ahead to (250) 629-2100 and pre-pay for your slip. Our reservations are for June 4th -7th but if you plan on arriving early or staying longer please let them know!

• Thursday June 4th- 9:00 A.M Depart Anacortes, WA. Email receptionist@rangertugs.com if you would like to follow Andrew up to Poets Cove. 5:00 P.M Cocktail hour and appetizers on the dock. Bring your favorite appetizer and refreshment. Don’t forget your chair!

• Friday June 5th -5:00 P.M Cocktail hour and appetizers on the dock. Bring your favorite appetizer and refreshment. Don’t forget your chair!
6:00-7:00 P.M. Bingo Night! Great prizes! Bingo card provided. Don’t forget your chair!

• Saturday June 6th -
Second annual blindfold dinghy race. Be sure to bring your dinghy and your prop wash.
5:00 P.M Cocktail hour and appetizers on the dock. Bring your favorite appetizer and refreshment. Don’t forget your chair!
7:00 P.M Potluck Barbecue on the dock courtesy of Port Boat House and Dolphin Insurance. Hamburgers and Smokies provided. Please bring a side dish or Dessert.

• Sunday June 7th -12:00 check out. Depart at your leisure. Factory boats will clear customs in Anacortes.

There will not be any rafting at Poets Cove. Everyone will have a side-to tie. 30 amp shorepower will be available for all of the boats. We will also have extra shorepower cords and splitters on site.

Great group of Ranger Tugs and Cutwaters up here at Poets Cove this weekend. Looks like a special boat show for the Ranger Tug Cutwater family of boats. Every make and model represented. So far two fantastic nights of food, fun and fellowship. Tonight is the finale with dinner hosted by Port Boat House and others. Pictures will follow in Willie's blog in a day or so as we have bandwidth.
