Cruising season is just around the corner here in the Pacific Northwest. That means it’s time to sign up for our annual “Points North” Seminar. The seminar will be taught by Sam Landsman again this year and will cover several topics including: popular Gulf Island and Desolation Sound cruising spots, clearing customs, anchoring, tides, currents, outfitting, stern tying, safety, Dodd Narrows, and much more. The seminar is a pre-requisite for anyone joining us on the Desolation Sound Cruise (participation in prior cruises also count towards the pre-requisite).
We will have two identical seminars again this year. One on Saturday, April 7th and one on Sunday, April 8th. Please choose whichever is more convenient for you. There is no difference between the two. The seminar will run from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm in the downstairs conference room of Elliott Bay Brewery in Lake City, WA. Please arrive at 8:30 am and join us for breakfast pastries, coffee, and juice that will be provided courtesy of Global Marine Insurance. There will also be a one-hour break for lunch. Lunch is not included but you are welcome to order from Elliott Bay Brewery, their food is delicious.
