So, our journey fromOkla to Alaska, sees us in Custer, he SD today. Yesterday thousands of people were just at Mt Rushmore!! As I'm parked in a vacant lot waiting for Margaret to get a hairdo -- an this is as true as tonight's full moon -- two people stop and both are ooohing and aaahing over our RT25. Neither had ever seen one. One guy even offered to buy the boat. We've read lots of similar stories but until you actually experience the interest people have ....... well you know the rest of that story. 😀

We heard the stories but didn't believe the extent of the interest before we bought our 27OB.. we do now. We have put our 27OB in at our local ramp in Rockland, Maine a few times now. Every time we were inundated with folks oohing/aahing and asking questions. What should take us 30 minutes to launch or retrieve the boat, typically takes us 90+ minutes!! We have now factored that time into our schedule. If this gets any worse once tourist season really starts... I may break down and get a slip so we don't waste so much time.
