What product should I use to reattach my port side front window latch, it has become disconnected from the glass.

Bob.

Mr. Bob B, I have had very good results with a product called E-6000, a picture of the tube is in my photo album. Was unable to down load pic to this post. I found this product when making wine glasses from mason jars and candle holders. (Great Christmas gifts with a bottle of wine). It is strong and dishwasher safe! I've used it to make various repairs on my boat and is stronger than original.
Good luck with the repair and if you would like a classy set of Bubba Bob's wine glasses send me a PM
Bob

Excellent!! I will look for some E-6000 and give it a go. I appreciate the offer on the wine glasses. I will contact you later today.

I appreciate the quick response.

I hope I don't later regret it... but I used 5200 on mine when it fell off. It works great so far.

From a post I made on Sept 2016:
The helm station window latch fell off. At the Rendezvous, Ranger Tugs staff applied the magic fix.
They used black Sikaflex 291 adhesive.
First step was to clean off all old adhesive residue from both the latch and window.
The correct position on the window was outlined with green masking tape.
Then the Sikaflex 291 was liberally applied to both sides of the window latch.
Next the latch was positioned and clamped with a large wood clamp for a minimum of one hour.
(We left the clamp on for four hours just to be sure.)
Then the excess adhesive was trimmed and removed with a razor.
After three days of very heavy use the latch seems to be holding in place with no issues!
Thanks to Andrew, Ralf and the Ranger Tug repair team for the solution to this fairly common issue!

I also contacted Diamond Sea Glaze for two spare latches just in case. Part Reference Number: HW-LS5564 Hande, D15, Painted LP - R.BOM
They were $14.75 each plus shipping. Here's the contact info:

I used Loctite superglue for glass. It's suppose to become more resilient with exposure to heat and UV light, the chemistry is way over my head, but it works. So far it's held solid. I got mine from Lowes.

Thank you for the replies - very helpful!! 😀

My puter was acting up - ice storm followed by 5 inches of snow ... back on line now. Once it warms up, I will fix the latch before our trip to Florida Barrier Islands. Only about 5 more weeks!!

I used this double sided tape when both of our inside handles/latches fell off.

But now I'm wondering...wasn't there something on the outside of those latches? If there was, they are both gone now and only black patches remain on the outside. But the inside latches are holding strong!

I also use the double sided tape to replace the snads that fall off on the windshield.

My recollection from our R25SC is that there were just Black Patches on the outside to conceal the look of the inside glued on latch.
