Port widow leak above V-birth when raining.

We were cruising this week and had a couple days of heavy rain. We notice that water was coming above the portside sink and bed area. The above glass is leaking because the water is collecting on the lower left corner of the windshield and then dripping into the bed area, sink, etc. Any suggestions on what to do??

This has happened twice to us and in both cases was a matter of needing sealant on one of the installations above. One case was a nav light that was not sealed enough around the cable when new, and another was horn where sealant had slightly shrunk after a year.

So I would check all of those (when dry), apply LifeSeal or similar in a matching color anywhere there *might* be a gap for a leak, and see. After that, next step would be to remove headliner and trace it, if needed.

Also, clean all around the seals on any hatches. It might just be dirt on one of those (although presumably that would be more obvious since it would usually just run from there). Good luck!
