On our way to Portland with our new to us Cutwater 28! Look forward to connecting with others in the area!

Cheers

We have a Ranger Tug 25SC that we now keep at the Camas/Washougal port on the Columbia. Let us k ow if you are coming out our way. A 28 Cut is a great boat! Congratulations and watch the currents!

Helgerso,

Welcome to the Cutwater / Ranger Tug family, and to the Portland Tugnut group! We have talked about a gathering, but haven't yet pulled that off. Where will you be moored? Wherever it is, there are enough of us in the area that you stand a good chance of seeing a Ranger Tug or Cutwater on the water this season.

We are on a floating home at Blue Frog Moorage and keeping it there for now.

Let's get a group together for opening day and watch the boats!

Welcome!
We are at Sundance and looking forward to seeing you on the river.

Opening Day sounds like a great idea! May 3rd is coming fast. Anyone have any ideas for a place we could all meet up?

...And congrats on your new boat. Is it the boat that was over at Hayden Bay and I believe owned by a fellow named Mike? I noticed a while back that it is not there any more.

I could inquire of Sundance yachts to see if we could meet there if that sounds like a logical spot?

Sundance sounds great. If they say no to you then Lenny or Louise could ask. 😉

I will ask Geri and Sundance.

If you're considering meeting up please chime in.

Thx!

We are considering but must move things around to make it happen for the afternoon. Is there a time the group is considering? It would be about a 1.5 hr run for us from Camas/Washougal port, I am guessing, but it should be a nice cruise destination as well!

I've looked around and can't see the start time online. I thought it was around noon. If anyone had the most recent freshwater times newspaper there is a write up in it.

Thx

At our club (Rose City Yacht Club), Opening Day festivities start at 10 a.m. Can't say if that is the same as Opening Day festivities on the river more generally, but maybe.

We'd love to join a gathering on Saturday May 3rd. Haven't pinned down our schedule for the weekend because I need to be out of town the next week. But I'm hoping for some time on the water. Right now, our boat is getting ready for a spring haul-out and it should be back in the water by the 2nd. Barring any unforeseen issues, our boat would be ready for an Opening Day gathering if we are.

So, tentatively, count us in! If the gathering is at Sundance, it may take us -- oh, what -- five minutes to get there?

Justin, the harbor master at Salpare Bay where my little tug sleeps at night said we could tie up there as a place to meet up. Anyone have any news from Sundance?

Sundance is looking full and with the good weather never know. I failed! Sorry. I only heard from one or two. What say the group?

Our boat (Echo) is out of the water have some spring maintenance and its first annual "physical." We thought she'd be back in service by the weekend, but we are taking advantage of having her on the hard to do some things on her. So, no boat!

But we are game to come by the dock and meet everyone, if others are going to gather. Either Sundance or Salpare would be convenient. Our boat is down at Schooner, so we are just a couple of miles away on Hayden Island. If the gathering happens, count us in for a dockside drop by to say hi.
