Possible change to fishing regulations based on the North Carolina lawsuit

The Coastal Conservation Association brought a law suit against North Carolina for failing to meet it constitutional duty to manage fisheries for the good of the citizens AND WON. Now they are working to determine how to right this wrong and there are a lot of things being considered among them: not allowing other state commercial boats to fish in NC waters, major changes to allowing pound nets, etc., major reduction in commercial quotas, reduction in recreational fishing for certain fish and more.

I suspect there are a limited number of Tugnut members from North Carolina, but as this MSN article concludes, other states are watching because they are at risk too.
