I have made several attempts to include an image in a post using the option and also including this option within as described in the FAQ. The images are being linked from Dropbox and the images are less than the 700 x 700 pixel limit. Each attempt results in error message "It is not possible to determine dimensions of the image". I know the link is okay because if I simply paste the link as text into the post (shows blue), clicking on the link results in the image being displayed. What should I be doing differently?
What's the URL of the image? I can try and figure the incantations.

Below the link to the image stored at http://www.dropbox.com. I put the first in quotes so that it shows completely and the second, which is blue, and is the active form but comes up with some ... instead of text.

https://www.dropbox.com/s/0en5s04beaxj4 ... M.jpg?dl=0

The image it leads to a low resolution image I took in my den for test purposes. Not something that would normally appear in a Tugnuts' post.

Change "dl=0" at end of line to "dl=1"

When it's a "dl=0", it actually goes to a webpage. When it's "dl=1" its the image itself.

Thanks, VogonPoet. Your solution works and indicates you must have considerable Knowledge regarding image posting. The change from =0 to =1 seems simple, but only to those who know what they are doing.

Hope you find a tug to buy.

Regards,

David
