Hi,

I have owned my 2019 R23 for two seasons. Last year I noticed the steering hydraulic hose had a bad crimp in in so this year I had the dealer replace the hose. yesterday while attempting to dock under a strong current I lost my steering. I struggled to turn the wheel and managed to break it free just in a nick of time. The steering hydraulic hose had gotten wedged under the steering linkage of the engine and prevented any fluid from flowing in the hose.

Since this is now two occurrences with this hose in two years, I don't think this is a one-off situation. Just want to bring this to the attention of others as it was a very scary few seconds......

Thank you for posting this. I own a 2018 R23 and have had to replace a crimped hydraulic hose, too. Fortunately, I noticed it and got it replaced before failure. I have noticed another post or two on Tugnuts about this exact issue, which is concerning. I'd like to add my experience so that others with the R23 remain vigilant about this issue which is concerning...
