Priming Webasto Heater

Had to disconnect heater fuel lines for access to belts. Now have air in the lines and no heat. I have the analog dial controls and no digital prime option. Anyone have a good method?

It Has usually taken me 2-3 tries before the fuel pulls through after doing the disconnect. Sometimes I have to turn off house power for a while between starts to give the fault codes a chance to reset. Maybe try that.

If you go to the pump, you can use a power probe or similar to activate the pump. or just continue to try and start it. it will eventually self prime and start

Thanks guys! I will give the repeated attempts to start it approach a go. My fuel tank is nearly full so hoping that is an advantage.

When I changed the fuel filters it took quite a while, 5 minutes or more, of the pump working before fuel began flowing into the heater.

It worked, thanks everyone! It took 3 cycles. First two threw error code and shut down. Third try and she fired up and started pumping fuel (and heat). I let it run for around 20 minutes then shut it down. Just in time for winter 🙂
