Wisdom needed ... trying to diagnose a problem with my shore power.

Have 2 lines in...line 1 for outlets etc...line 2 for A/C. Line 2 works great. But nothing on line 1.
There are 2 breakers under the rear seat which both show green...as do the 2 on the main shore power panel. On this same panel there is a needle gauge with a 3-way switch, only on line 2 does it show 110...switch the gauge to line 1...nothing.

There is also an inverter/charger on line 1 (Promariner 2500QS) this does not show any power either (no lights on front of the unit) When I switch the inverter off and then back on using the remote panel, the two top green lights come on for a second then go off. I would normally expect the top light to stay on....this one being shorepower/charging.
Am pretty sure all was working a few days ago and can not think I have done anything out of the ordinary that would cause an overload.

Any help gratefully appreciated

I don't have a/c on our boat but have experienced a similar issue you are describing. There is a main breaker in the rear locker of the R29 that would trip and I would lose power. Maybe look for a similar set up for your boat?

I had a bad main breaker (under the rear cockpit seat) on my R 31 which finally burned itself up. Dealer replaced it all is well.

Thanks for the replies.

The breakers are good...took a volt meter to the inverter and the input reads 110V ... so shore power is getting to that. Just no output to charging circuit or 110V output from the unit when plugged into shore power. Interestingly the inverter side of the unit is working. IE I can unplug shore power and use the inverter to power the 110V circuit (such as the microwave)

Hi

A solution!

Unfortunately my trouble turned out to be the inverter, I have replaced it and all works now.

I checked all the boards of the old unit for anything obvious but all looked good, no obvious burnt components; also did some rudimentary multi-meter checks and could not locate anything obvious.

Any budding electrical engineers...please feel free to shout if you want to practice on a ProMariner 2500QS. 😀
Local pickup only…this thing is heavy. (I have brought it back and forth to the boat about 10 times so speak from experience)

Thanks
