I have power at the AC panel to both the master switch and the breaker. The inverter light comes on at the control panel in the cabin but when I switch to charge, I get nothing.

What am I forgetting?

We had this problem with our 2016 R31-CB (bought used5 years ago). We eventually replaced the unit.

Did you replace it with an identical Promariner?

Sounds like it's the automatic transfer switch. The ATS doesn't recognize shore power and defaults to inverter mode. The switch is not replaceable so the unit needs to be replaced. I have suffered the same fate.

I have a working Pro Mariner from my 2014 R31 that I just replaced with a Victron. If you're in the Seattle area we could work something out if you've not fixed it yet.

The Promariner inverters installed by the factory in your model year were modified sine wave inverters. If you are going to replace your 2014 inverter, buy a pure sine wave model. Your alternating current appliances will run better and cooler.

We also have a 2014 31CB, when first purchased 4yrs ago the output breaker would trip. I replace the breaker as it had gotten weak from multiple trips over the years. Then the unit failed completely as I learned was common with Promariner . Promariner no longer makes inverter/chargers. I researched what Practical Sailor had to say about inverter/chargers and selected Xantex 3000 (same physical size as 2000 and much lighter than old unit ), not the top of the line but in the middle. I found best price and service at Hodges marine supply. I purchased remote monitor, battery temp sensor and GFIC receptacle w/unit. I had to do some reworking of cables and DC switch. Two years later and Xantex stopped working , solution was a firmware upgrade , like magic it is back working fine.
