Prop burn on rudder?

I'm seeing the same issue on our 2014 R27. No significant pitting yet so my plan is to place some fiberglass cloth (~5.0 oz.) bedded in some 'thickened' epoxy (West System G-Flex) over the offending areas and then AF paint. We'll see how that works out.

Sounds like a good plan. It’s critical to get it really clean and rough up the surface to get the epoxy to adhere. Coarse sandblasting would be best if you have access. I cleaned out the pits with a Dremel. A grinder should work if there are no pits.
