Propane Locker and Salt Water

My 2014 R31 propane locker is always soaked in a half inch or so of salt water. Have the new models had any modification to improve drainage to slow down the rusting of the propane tanks?

Maybe the drain hole is plugged? Ours drains fairly quickly. Doesn’t stop them from rusting though. I rinse them often with fresh.

Best thing I did was coat the propane tanks with anti rust paint and then multi coat the tank with rubberized truck bed paint. stops a lot of the rust issues.

Same issue with the locker on our 2014 R31CB.

We started having rust on the propane tanks. Karl cleaned them up, painted them, and now they are snuggled and protected with a dry bag. Works great!
