Hello. New to tug. Tried to use our stove this weekend. The tanks are full. The bbq worked with separate line. The propane does not flow to oven/stove. We opened the the stopcock in the hatch. We bought a regulator and will try to see if this is the problem. Any other thoughts? Thanks!

There’s a gas sensor in the galley tab also activates a solenoid on the top of the tank. I’ll take a pic tomorrow when I’m on my boat. You press the on button (I forget the label) and a green light will come on. It may take a minute for the gas line to prime.

There is (at least on our boat) a solenoid panel and button that must be activated to open the propane line. Not sure where that is on an R27 -- n our C30 it is on the quarter berth. I forget that a lot (also forget and leave it on sometimes).

Another common problem is that the gas holes on the stove get plugged very easily. Can clean it with rubbing alcohol and q-tip, plus something like a safety pin to poke into the hole. We have twice thought the propane wasn't working and that was the cause.

Thanks! We did turn on the solenoid. No luck. I will try cleaning the gas holes.

I had a similar problem a couple weeks ago and it turned out to be be a bad butt splice splice common to the solenoid. The connection on my boat (R31) was 12 inches from the solenoid. Hope this helps.

Had the same issue, the hose at the tank was not tight enough to trigger a safety(?) device at the connection. Had to carefully use a pair of channel locks to get it tight enough.
